Took my Compound up to quicks first thing Saturday morning, I was their before they opened at 09:30, because I had to get to a GWAS coaching meeting followed by a council meeting straight after.
So picked up the bow later in the evening (thanks for staying open), they have replaced the yoke free of charge but can't tell me if this will sort it out at all have been told from other sources that, that the amount of wear depends on the string material so this might not be the last of this issue so with that in mind I went down the field on Sunday and shoot a few arrows at 70m.
Not too bad first arrow missed high and I then proceeded to put in a group high after I had found a sight mark which took another end put in a 53 end followed by a 50 backed up with another 50. Then a nice long extended lunch break and back to straight into a 50 end followed by a 48 end (several in the 7 & 8). I continued shooting from their onwards average 49, 48, 53 and finished the day on 54.
I wasn't at all displeased with it felt quite relaxed about my shooting but did struggle with the weight as haven't shot for quite some time.
Oh should I mention that I shot my recurve on Sunday and not my compound I'm seriously thinking that compound this season will be something I work on down the field until I can learn the mechanics I'm not going to waste money travelling to tournaments with it.
Not sure what to do with this blog now mind you.

This could spell the End
Shot today for the first time in 2010. Noticed that the control cable seems to have gone through the buz cable AGAIN. I only replaced this a few months ago have posted pictures below and I am wondering I am going over the top or is this a real problem. If it is a real problem then how do I fix it. I can't just keep replacing cables every 400 - 500 arrows as I will never have a stable set up. I feel the recurve is a calling.
